What I’m wondering is whether this will become a game-changer. If melee combat is overpowered, it could make gunfights less relevant, especially in modes like Search and Destroy. But if done right, it could bring a whole new level of strategy to the game.

I’m particularly curious about the “blade-fu” mechanics—will we get the ability to parry or chain together moves in a fluid combo system? Think of how cool it would be to deflect bullets and instantly counterattack with a swift slash.
